The Uninvited
About This Issue
23 artists across every medium were handed that idea and asked to skip the costume. what came back is a collection of ordinary rooms with something in them that has no business being there — the extra face in a photograph nobody can name, the knock at an hour when nobody knocks, whatever’s been quietly living in the crawlspace. every piece arrived finished and ran untouched. free to download, free to keep, made for nothing but the love of the work.

next Issue
The blight collective is fueled by artists who love to feed the creative fire inside of themselves. It's the ones with a passion to create that burns like an unquenched thirst. If that’s you, we want your work in the next issue.
Collage, photography, painting, illustration, printmaking, mixed media, writing...if you make it, it belongs here.
issue 03 Theme
burn
this issue will explore the forces that consume us and the traces they leave behind. Desire, obsession, anger, and ambition can spark creation, but keeping a fire alive always costs something. This issue considers that tension through art, photography, writing, and personal expression: the heat of wanting, the exhaustion of giving too much, the impulse to destroy, and the possibility of beginning again. What do we feed? What do we sacrifice? What survives when the flames disappear? BURN invites you to sit with the damage, sift through the ashes, and discover what might still be taking root beneath it all.
