About This Issue
Every space in these pages was built for someone who isn’t in it. The motel between guests. The stairwell you only exist to pass through. The room that still holds the shape of whoever left. A group of artists working across every medium were handed a single word and asked to find the absence in it — and what came back is a collection of empty spaces that refuse to feel empty. The ones that feel watched. Free to download, free to keep, made for nothing but the work. Different hands, same fire.

The blight collective is fueled by artists who love to feed the creative fire inside of themselves. It's the ones with a passion to create that burns like an unquenched thirst. If that’s you, we want your work in the next issue.
Collage, photography, painting, illustration, printmaking, mixed media, writing...if you make it, it belongs here.
issue 02 Theme

Someone is here who shouldn't be. At the door, in the yard, in the photograph, in the walls, in your head. Folklore is very clear that the thing outside can't come in unless you invite it...but what happens after you do? This is the fall issue, so bring the dark with you. We're after the one already inside, already comfortable, already sitting down. The extra face in a photo nobody can name. The knock at an hour when nobody knocks. Bring out whatever's been quietly living in the crawlspace of your work. Make it unnerving, make it yours, and leave it here with everyone else's.
